▪ How does the RCWF work?

Each week, we have our regularly scheduled events take place live at www.justin.tv/tvirus_zombies. We have four events a week, but all four are split in two and shown every Tuesday and Wednesday evening starting at 8 PM CST (9 EST) for the entire week. The events are all four booked several days in advance so that you know what to expect on the next week's shows. The characters are made on the Smackdown vs. RAW series for the XBOX 360. Other games might be used in the future or for one-time things, but this is the sole series I am sticking with because it has the best graphics and CAW system combined.

▪ How do you broadcast all of this on JTV?

I use a Dazzle DVC 100 which you can most probably purchase at your local Best Buy, because that's where I got mine. It's a pretty simple setup. I got my inspiration to start my own JTV account from TKTV, Dead Pirate Studios and Nitro_v2.

▪ I have my own CAW I've made on my game. Can I use this?

Yes, you can. All you have to do is post your CAW codes in our forums so that I have the ability to create your wrestler to the exact coding. If you have a picture of your wrestler, you can also email that to me and I can use that as a reference. Please keep in mind that as of October 2009, we no longer accept any CAW codes for games sooner than Smackdown Vs. Raw 2010.

▪ Why do some of these people's characters never show up in the JTV Channel?

Some of the characters in RCWF are brought back by me personally because they were a legit and important role in the RCWF before we even arrived on JTV. Characters like Krow, Outlaw, Justin Rom, Scott Toker, Todd Reign, The Eliminator, Guy Silencine and others were pinnacle competitors in the RCWF dating all the way back to 1999, and have been chosen by me personally to continue their careers. The people behind these type of characters may or may not show up, but the consequences of not showing up are not held against these type of characters. I like to classify these as "RCWF Classics," because they are either Hall of Famers or held other important roles in the RCWF and have been brought back to life by my own choosing, even though the people behind the characters may not even realize that they are still alive and well in the current RCWF.

▪ Why does the screen turn dark sometimes during the broadcast?

This is my XBOX 360's fail safe so the graphics won't bleed into the HDTV I am using. This means that I haven't touched the controller in a while and I've become "idle." Once I touch the controller, it goes back to normal again.

▪ Why was I taken off the roster (or never added)?

More often than not, this is the result of you not showing up to the JTV channel and letting us know that you are keeping tabs on the promotion. If you simply fill out an application, chill out in the channel that night and never return, your character will be dropped eventually. I usually give at least a month for people to come back, because I know people have work, school, girlfriends and other things that may conflict with the RCWF. However, not even showing up, posting in the CBOX or in the forums for over a month is a bit of a stretch. If you get taken off for inactivity, you can reapply by submitting another contract. If you have filled out a contract and have never been added, it's probably because you have been tracked down in another JTV promotion. Often times, you will be added, but will be given the last priority over others who are solely in the RCWF. There could also be the fact that the contract never submitted completely and I never received it, so also keep that in mind.

▪ What are the requirements for entering the RCWF Hall of Fame?

You must have won the original RCWF World Heavyweight Championship at least once. Other championships also contribute in helping you get chosen for the Hall of Fame. You must also have been a RCWF member for at least two years (sometimes overlooked). You must be active, and show up a lot for the RCWF to show that you are dedicated to the promotion. Starting arguments, causing crap and joining other federations also keep you one step away from joining the Hall of Fame. Everybody makes mistakes, but we look at your positives to override your negatives and make that decision. The more things you do to help the RCWF and remain loyal, the better your chances will be at eventually entering the group. There have been 600+ wrestlers to appear in the RCWF, but less than 30 are in the Hall of Fame. That should tell you something!

▪ Why do you use mostly CAW's? Why not use WWE wrestlers? And, can I submit a real wrestler to RCWF?

I prefer to stick with created characters because throughout RCWF's history most characters have been created anyways, so the e-fed has just about always been a totally separate entity from anything you see in real life. The RCWF is basically its own fantasy wrestling world and we really have no need to throw in any real wrestlers unless there is an absolute need for it. I would please ask you to try and think up of a created character before you submit an actual wrestler for two reasons. The first is that the WWE loves to take down anything that has its copyrights and trademarks in it. People who have broadcasted old WCW and WWE shows on JTV have had their accounts cancelled. People who have uploaded old WWE and WCW footage on YouTube have had their videos removed all because of copyright laws. The RCWF hardly touches base on anything in the real world of wrestling, and if we ever do, we use the wrestler's real name instead of the name they used while in the big leagues. It also makes it seem a bit more realistic. The second reason is the fact that real wrestlers have limits as to what they can do, and RCWF is not the place to have limits. You will want to be able to have your character open to whatever he or she can get to make things more exciting. If you've glanced at our roster, you probably have noticed that being a real character would also stick out like a sore thumb.

▪ What's the difference between the shows: Painkiller, Meltdown, Fallout & Demolition?

There is no difference between the four brands as of October 2009. All four brands are now on the latest wrestling game equally, and have the same amount of talent.

▪ I submitted a contract, so what can I do now?

You can  post a promo in our forums before and after your matches that you have. In this way, we are sort of like a traditional E-Fed where the better your promo is, the better kind of push you will get later down the road. Just by submitting a promo and showing me and the other staff members that you are keeping tabs on the promotion is a good move, because it will get you booked in more matches. If you simply join the RCWF and never post on our CBOX or do anything in our forums, then you will not be hardly used. Showing up at the Tuesday shows every week also increases your chances of being booked and used in the promotion. If we see that you are hanging around the chats and showing an interest in the RCWF, then we will have no choice but to use you.

▪ How do I submit my own fan made merchandise to the website?

It's simple. Just email me your fan made merchandise and it will get added to the merchandise page here on the website. You must be a current and active member of the RCWF roster to get your merchandise listed.

▪ Do we wrestle each other online?

No. The way this federation works is that once you sign up to join the RCWF, you will be created on the game and then you will be given the same exact stats as everybody else in the game. Once you start getting your matches, it will always be the CPU vs. CPU. Because of this, it is equal for everybody and comes out to luck of the draw. This prevents any arguments or beef happening over somebody cheating online and/or spamming the same move over and over until you just get a pinfall out of nowhere. The only exception to the CPU rule will be that I will take control of a character to advance a storyline that is expected to go a certain way, or to make the match more exciting than what the CPU can provide.

▪ I wasn't booked this week. Is something wrong?

Most probably not. There could be several reasons why you weren't booked. The first and foremost is the fact that each brand has thirty competitors and with 90 overall stars it will take a bit of sacrifice from everybody to make things work. I cannot simply book every single person every week otherwise the entire process will become hectic. I'm sure you can realize this once you think about it. Once you have joined the RCWF, you will get used as much as you can and if you aren't booked for a week's show, then don't fret. You will most likely get booked the next week. If it has been several weeks and you haven't been booked, please feel free to contact me and inform me of this. Sometimes I will overlook some wrestlers and not know it. Because of the mass quantity of wrestlers I am dealing with, this may happen from time to time. Just shoot me an email and just remind me of when the last time you were booked.

▪ I was booked, but I missed my match. Can I see it somehow?

Actually, you can. After almost every show, each individual match will be recorded and placed into the clips section on our JTV page. If you would like to go back and watch a match from a previous event, all you have to do is go to the JTV page and click on the clips section.

▪ What is your XBOX Live gamertag?

Not that it matters at all, but it is "tadpeters." If you send a friend request and let me know who you are, I'll add you as a friend. I do not play any wrestling games online, so please do not ask me to face you online. I hardly play any online games and its been that way since I first got my 360 in 2005. I enjoy single player games more than I do games that have online, unless there's a co-op feature in there somewhere.

▪ What is the "RCWF Game Night?"

RCWF Game Nights are organized nights where members of the RCWF can play a certain game on XBOX Live with one another. The very first game night was used with Gears of War 2, and the second with Halo 3. Announcements for dates and games for the next game night are usually posted on our forums at the very top, so keep an eye out for the next arranged game night you can join in on.

▪ How long has the RCWF E-Fed been around?

I first started the RCWF back in 1996-1997 and back then it was a federation exclusive to America Online and was ran through chatrooms using AOL's dice (2d30) system. Since that time, I have been running federations almost nonstop. Many of the names you see in today's RCWF were the same characters that first started out back when RCWF was under these old rules and probably helped get the RCWF promotion off the ground back in the golden days. In late 2008, I decided to change RCWF over into what I like to call a "vid-fed" because the interest of a pro wrestling e-fed on AOL/AIM has been gone for years now. Since we've moved to our new home on www.justin.tv, we have already begun to construct the next generation of RCWF competitors!

▪ I would like to know more about the RCWF, dating back to the beginning.

As of April 2010, you can now find all the information about RCWF's past right here on this very website, as the vault has been included all here!
